Newport’s Technology and Applications Center (TAC) develops application-specific solutions for our customers in the research and scientific market. Current activities of the TAC are focused on Ultrafast Spectroscopy, Nonlinear Microscopy, and Test and Characterization of photovoltaic devices. Using our own in-house expertise and collaborative relationships with key educational institutions, the members of this team provide application solutions, develop Application Notes and publish articles in peer review journals. TAC has integrated Newport products into a number of stand alone devices in the form of kits that help researchers address challenges of the characterization, manipulation and control of ultrashort and conventional laser pulses. Supercontinuum generation, CARS microspectrometer, and Two-photon polymerization are other examples of complete solutions developed by TAC members.
